#Muscle&Fitness is intended to be a channel where
members
may freely discuss issues relating to health, fitness,
nutrition and bodybuilding. However, freedom of speech is
to be considered of paramount importance in this channel.
No non-offensive or non-harrassing speech should be quashed
simply because somebody believes it to be "off-topic."
The
ultimate goal is to make this channel a friendly place where
people may come to chat without fear of judgment. Obviously,
with freedom of speech comes differences of opinions and
debates. These are encouraged. Mindless name calling and
berating of other users is not. In addition to free speech,
it is acceptable to trade pictures in this channel or to send
via email, Dcc, ftp, or any other method, any appropriate
files. Announcements of the availability of ftp servers are
both accepted and encouraged.
We welcome all men and women here, and try to make the
atmosphere comfortable for all congenial conversation.
However, this channel has a few rules that will be
strictly --
and, in some cases, drastically -- enforced.
Everyone is expected to follow the general rules of conduct
that are set out below.
The rules are simple ones for people who find it easy
to
function in a civilized society:
1. No user shall harrass another user.
2. If a user asks you to stop sending him or her
private
messages, please do so.
The violation of these rules will be considered
"stalking"
and will result in your being permanently banned from this
channel. Any user who violates these rules will receive one
warning. If the user does not heed the warning, he or she
will be banned from the channel for 30 days. Upon his or her
return, if he or she continues to engage in such conduct, he
or she will receive one more warning, and then be permanently
banned from the channel.
Use common sense. If you would not do or say
something in
real life, don't do or say it here, or you will be in trouble.
If you are on the receiving end of any harrassing
conduct,
please notify one of the channel operators (They're the guys
and gals with the @ in front of their names) and they will
warn or ban the user, as is appropriate.
PLEASE NOTE: THE GOAL IS TO MAKE THIS CHANNEL A CONGENIAL AND ENJOYABLE PLACE TO SPEND YOUR SPARE TIME. PLEASE HELP US IN THIS ENDEAVOR!!
